The Feminism is the Nineteeh century.

Feminism is a set of political, philosophical  and social ideas for promote women's  rights and their interest in society.

Feminism is a social and political movement. Feminism is about changing the way that people see men and women. Feminism denounced that women were poorly trated in the past and that his must stop. Somebody who follows feminism is called a fiminist. If the term "Feminism" makes  senses in the 20th century, the ideas of women's liberation began in The 19th century and claim to be older movements or struggles in other historical contexts. "The first wave of feminism" is to reform the institutions, so that men and women are equal before the law, right fort the education, right for the controle them property, right to work..

These ideas was put fordward by some Phylosophers in the 18th and 19th centuries such as Mary Wollstonecraft and Johan Stuart Mill. (Later Feminists in the early 20th century said aslo that women should be allowed to vote in a democracy.) Feminist Theory exists in a variety of disciplines, emerging from these feminist movements and including general theories about the origins of inequality, and, in some cases, about the social constitution of sex and gender. However, by the end of the nineteeth century, activism focused primarily on gaining political power, specially the right of women's suffrage,though some feminists were active  for women's sexual, reproductive , and economic rights at this time.

⇒ I decided to talk about feminism, because the ideas outlined in the movie by Julia Roberts are among the foundations of feminism and this film is a realistic representation of the movement that began in the 19th century and whose ideas are really re-hang to 20 ° (as in this film).

⇒I think that feminism was a good thing at that time, something essential that makes  women in an place in our society; But i'm not necessarily agree with the current feminist debates, I found "excessive" and I think some women are happy to have (with pride) , this role of "female object", giving the image of women as an object.
